We used these chip spreader boxes in the past to do tar and chip jobs. It works and everything is intact but may need some lubrication as it has been sitting for a few years without use.
Q: do you know who manufactured this i mean the company? also can you send me the dimensions? want to see if they will fit our single axle trucks. tks
A: We could not find a manufacturer tag on them. They measure a little over 10 ft overall with the opening where it connects to the truck being 8ft. The connection is the same as salt spreader with the holes for the pins being at about 8 ft 2".
Q: how many are up for auction? do they operate off of hydraulics or gravity fed? tks
A: We have two. The other is on another Municibid auction. They are gravity feed.
