A couple things to note is engine makes awful noise for awhile pretty common with three valve engines when starting till it warms up , Also spring towers rusted very bad and cab corner , rocker panel

Q: The engine problem you mention do you know what the source of the problem is? About how long does it make noise until warms up 3 minutes?10 minutes?
A: the 5.4 , 3 valve engines are very know for timing issues and Cam phasers issues without pulling the motor apart it's hard to tell, but they all have a Shorter life then the 2 valve engine that ford made , it sometimes takes a couple minutes till it quiets down
