Student designed and built custom chicken coop that combines functionality, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Standing at a total height of 8 feet 4 inches, the coop measures 10 feet long and just over 4 feet wide, providing ample space for healthy and happy hens.
The coop includes four nesting boxes arranged neatly within a 5-foot 6-inch section. The exterior enclosed length of the structure totals 6 feet 3 inches, offering both a comfortable nesting area and a secure outdoor enclosure wrapped in durable chicken wire.
A 4'5" door provides easy access for caretakers, while two revolving windows allow for adjustable ventilation and natural light. The coop also features a solar-powered automatic chicken door, ensuring energy efficiency and reliable daily operation—keeping the flock safe and on schedule.
