The Town of Tyngsborough seeks to sell a 2000 Spartan Fire Engine that was taken out of service in 2024. The engine ran at the time it was taken out of service but will likely need to be jump-started. The Town is aware of electrical issues with the truck which resulted in its termination of use.

Q: What electrical issues is the town aware of?
A: The issue the Town identified was chewed wiring for the emergency lights. The Town did not spend money to investigate further as the replacement engine had already been approved.
