2011 Ford Crown Victoria - Former Police and Fire Department Vehicle
This 2011 Ford Crown Victoria originally served as a police car before being transferred to the Fire Department, where it was repainted in red. While all responder lights have been removed, the roadway lights remain fully functional.
Please note that the odometer is not working, so the exact mileage is unknown. The vehicle is currently located at the Fire Station at 50 Elm St. for viewing.
The battery was recently jumped, and the car started immediately, although it has not been driven for some time. This vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty.
Q: was this always a fire car and painted red or was it in police use and because it was a fire car THEN painted red.. it used to be white
A: I believe it was painted red.
Q: Information for the next 6 people to ask for the mileage. Mileage info is stored in the instrument cluster on this year and model car, and the LEDs often burn out. To see mileage, the buyer will need to repair backlight LEDs.
A: Thanks!
Q: can you give us the last mileage recorded on the last service order or oil change please. hate to buy something with 300K miles on it
A: Sorry, we do not have a record of it. As a former police cruiser, they typically put on about 120,000 in three years, then surplus. This was a Fire Supervisor vehicle, but has been off the road for a few years. You could come by with a OBD Scanner that has a mileage reader and perhaps get the milage off of it. Sorry I could not help more.
Q: Is there any way you can get the milage from a scan tool or can I bring a scan tool and try. Thanks.
A: You can schedule an inspection with the fire dept any week day.
