Q: Why is the Municipality getting rid of a 12 year old apparatus? Has this been exposed to flooding/flood waters? Why was the transmission replaced after so few miles?
A: There is a new Apparatus ordered as part of our replacement plan. It has not been exposed to any flooding and the Transmission was replaced due to an internal failure that was going to cost more to repair than to replace.

A: There is a lot of room for bidding until the reserve is met
