Q: are you sure those engine hours are correct? thats the equivalent of 500k miles which sounds crazy for a car with 30k actual miles
A: The reason the engine hours are higher is because it’s a police vehicle and it spends a lot of time idling. The engine continues running even when the vehicle is not being driven, so the engine hours increase much faster than the mileage.
