1997 GMC C8500. 83,272 miles on a 7.2L CAT 3126 engine with an automatic 5 speed Allison Transmission. VIN 1GDP7H1J7VJ500119. PA inspection expired September 2025. Truck has new turbo, exhaust manifold and fuel tank on the driver side. Vehicle currently will not pass PA State inspection; however, the truck ran and drove when parked. Truck contains rust throughout the frame, has a cracked top frame rail, and rear brakes are currently locked from sitting without use. Truck is being sold without a body. The truck will start with a jump. Sold as is with no warranty.
Q: Is plow being auctioned with this truck also?
A: No, this item is the truck only. Our other truck we currently have up for sale includes a plow.
Q: If motor is original in truck it cannot be a 3126. Used 3116 until 1999. Please explain. Thanks
A: The 3126 was introduced in 1997 and our mechanic said it was a 3126. I would recommend an in-person inspection if you have concerns on whether it is a 3116 or a 3126.

A: I cannot provide photos of the entire frame. I would recommend arranging a time to come inspect in person.
