Here we have a 2009 Dodge Charger, it has a 5.7L V8 and automatic transmission. Mileage is 102,027. It was in service as an unmarked police car since new. Starts, runs and drives but is out of inspection since October 2025. Rust present on rear wheel wells, and inside frame has rust holes by exhaust manifolds. No police equipment present on car or will be included with sale.
Q: How long do I have to get there to pick it up if I do win a bid
A: If it sits more than 6 months we will just reauction it off
Q: Is this a hellcat?
A: Almost
Q: Do this vehicle has other issues besides the exhaust manifold is there any oil leaks or transmission leaks or cooling leaks? Any other engine problems? Is there a tap and a lifters?
A: There are no engine issues that we are aware of, no check engine light or abnormal engine noise. No leaks that we can see. The issue with the car is the rust, there are holes in the unibody frame right next to the exhaust manifold, not with the manifold itself. The actual subframes of the car seem to be okay.
Q: Good Afternoon Sir/Ma’am - If possible - are you able to get it up on a lift and provide additional photos of the undercarriage? Also, will it need anything to pass inspection? - Thanks!
A: Possibly next week if we have time to put it on the lift. The safety aspect of the car is up to the individual inspector, some would not pass the rust on the wheel wells and holes inside the unibody frame adjacent to the exhaust manifolds but these issues can be repaired
