1981 710A Champion Grader
This reliable 1981 710A Champion grader is powered by a robust 4-53 Detroit diesel engine, and drives on an automatic transmission. It has recently been upgraded with new batteries, tires, and cutting edges on the blade, ensuring enhanced performance and durability. Included with the grader is a 12 ft. snow plow, making it versatile for various tasks.
Please note there are a few issues to be aware of: the brakes do not work, the scarifier cylinder and blade rotate cylinder are leaking, and the lower windshield is cracked. Despite these concerns, the machine runs and operates as it should, ready to handle your grading and snow removal needs.
Q: Are the brakes hydraulic or air? Are parts no longer available? Is there a reason they were not fixed?
A: Hydraulic brakes. We are unsure of parts availability. They were not repaired due to not wanting to put any money into something we never use.
Q: Being that this machine is 45 years old and no longer made, do you have a vendor for repair parts?
A: We have purchased parts in the past through Rudd Equipment.
Q: does the heat work? and any issues with transmission?
A: The heat works well, and there are no issues with the transmission.
Q: how many hours are on the grader?
A: We are not sure if the hour meter works, but the motor was rebuilt, and has low hours on it.
