Invicta Delta Single Spindle Shaper — Model 43780, 3-Phase

Up for auction is an Invicta Delta single spindle shaper, Model 43780, manufactured in Pittsburgh, PA. Per the nameplate, this machine is rated at 230/460 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz, drawing 19 amps at 230V and 9.5 amps at 460V (Serial No. 2068, manufactured November 1986). The machine features a large cast iron table surface with spindle opening, an adjustable two-piece fence with individual section controls, multiple knob and lever adjustments, chip deflectors on both sides of the cutter head, and a heavy enclosed steel cabinet base. A box of additional shaper tooling and accessories is included as shown in the photos. Invicta machinery was solidly built to last, and the company manufactured larger industrial-sized equipment for Delta. The machine shows wear consistent with shop use.
