Q: We are a dealer who sells to other municipalities. If we provide municipal paperwork, will you leave the equipment on it?
A: As the equipment was purchased by the Borough, and may possibly be reused, it is unable to be left on the vehicle.
Q: How come none of the 6, Ford Recalls and CSP were done?
A: Unfortunately a previous officer handled the recalls and he is no longer with the department we have no access to that information.
Q: how many miles are on it? listing states 13k which seems awfully low for the amount of wear/year. how many idle hours? how long was water able to enter the rear window and how long has it been like that? <- I guess what I mean is, how long ago did it start getting wet inside, and is it currently still getting wet?
A: Good morning. I apologize, the correct mileage is 133,871 (I added a photo of the odometer). As for the water, I am unable to give an answer due to not knowing how long the window has been broken as the vehicle sat outside for at least 5 months. The broken window was noticed while taking pictures and could've happened at any time and as you know we have had an abnormal amount of rain this year. I checked the carpet this morning and it was slightly damp with a very strong musty odor. The vehicle has been moved into the garage but due to the garage not having heat or air conditioning the water is taking a bit longer to dry.
Q: What are the mechanical issues?
A: The vehicle had a Commercial Diagnostic Assessment and needs replacement of the following: * Internal Water Pump & Timing Assembly: Complete Front Engine Tear-Down * Both Manifold-Style Catalytic Converters: EPA/OEM-Compliant required * Climate Control Actuators (HVAC Blend Doors): Vehicle does NOT have heat * Rear Window: Shattered Full transparency, the carpet may possibly need replaced in the rear as rain water was able to enter due to the shattered window. Please feel free to contact the Borough office with any questions.
Q: is the white portion of the doors wrapped, or painted ?
A: As far as the Borough knows, it's painted. The vehicle came that way.
