Excellent Condition 2020 Ford Explore Police Interceptor 4WD
Total Engine Hours 7593
Total Engine Idle Hours 4527
Mileage 81110
Current Inspection and Emissions 10/27
This vehicle was purchased new in November of 2020 and used as a patrol unit until it was taken out of service in June 2026. When it was decommissioned, the police equipment was removed, it was inspected and emission tested, two new front tires were put on. This patrol unit was assigned and shared by two officers (we find that assigned cars are cared for better than motor pool patrol units). It has been garage kept. Patrol is generally all residential with almost no highway high speed driving. The tires are in like new condition. There is no visible rust and no known mechanical issues. The underside of this vehicle is almost rust free (see photos). There are no dash lights on except the park assist light. AC blows ice cold. Comes with Weather Tech Floor liners. The factory back up cam was changed to one that is in the rear-view mirror.
While in-service the vehicle was extremely well maintained. Almost all service was done in-house by the Borough’s mechanics or at the Ford Dealership. Service records are included in the listing. The following items are the only known issues and are all cosmetic and common to used police vehicles. The light bar was removed so there is a sealed hole in the roof where the wiring ran (common to used police vehicles). The spotlight is working. There are minor scratches, scuffs, and dings but no major damage. Overall, this is a very nice SUV and would make a great safe car for your kids.
This vehicle has been regularly maintained throughout its service with the Franklin Park Borough Police Department. Maintenance records document routine oil and filter changes, inspections and preventive maintenance, along with scheduled transmission service, brake and rotor replacement, tire replacement, battery service, and other normal wear-item repairs as needed. Repairs were performed by the Borough’s maintenance staff and outside service facilities when appropriate, including Ford dealer warranty/recall work. The records indicate the vehicle was taken to a Ford dealer for applicable recall service. The vehicle currently has approximately 81,110 miles, and available maintenance records will be provided with the vehicle.
FRONT TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 4000 MILES ON THEM.
Vehicle is located at the Franklin Park Borough Police Department which is just north of Pittsburgh PA close to Interstate 79 and the PA Turnpike (76).
This vehicle is being sold in AS IS CONDITION.
