Q: central hydraulics or electric over Hydrolic ?
A: Electric
Q: why was this takin out of service only after 1 year ?
A: Because we didn't like the that even with a bed vibrator you had to dump the bed to fill the auger drive to spread the material. Being in town it just seemed to be a constant thing.
Q: does this go on the back of a dump truck bed ?
A: Yes, it goes in the place of the tailgate. So you remove the whole tailgate and put this in it's place
Q: what is the measurement from the bottom pin to the top pin ?
A: From center of pin to center of pin is 34 inches

Q: What is the width of the spreader & what type / size truck did you have it on ? Is it electric or hydraulic powered ? Thank you
A: The spreader is 84 inches wide. It's considered a tailgate spreader. We only used it 1 winter on the back of an F650. It's electric powered.
