Q: Is the motor a dt466 or that junky maxi force and is it a Allison transmission...also does it have air to rear to pull trailer
A: It has an Allison Transmission with the Maxx Force engine. And has NO rear air hookup for a trailer.
Q: Good morning , im trying to calculate my total cost if i invest in this truck , so i have a couple more questions : 1) TRANSPORTATION … to save the cost of the lowbed move from W. Newburyport,ma to Greenville Maine , in your opinion of the current mechanical condition of this truck do you think it can be driven aprox 250 miles as is ???? …. Question 2 ) based on the information provided and pictures it appears that to put this vehicle into use for winter snow and ice service at the minimum we will need to sandblast and paint the frame , wheels and body ( to pass inspection ) , preform a full service on the truck , add a used plow and add a used sander to truck which will be approximately an additional $20,000.00 to the cost of the vehicle bringing our investment to around the low to mid $30k range which exceeds the market value of this year truck especially since its not set up for a wing … so with that said would you consider reducing the reserve value ??? …. A: Good morning, the vehicle will most certainly be able to be driven from West Newbury to Greenville, Maine. We are unsure of Maine inspection guidelines but this vehicle passed MA inspection last August. We replaced this vehicle prior to August 2026 and it has not been reinspected. We will reduce the reserve to $10,000.
Q: Hi , im bidding from northern Maine too far to come inspect … question 1) is the snow plow included in the sale ?? … question 2) what condition is the frame in is it a single or double frame if double it’s it starting to spread n split ??
A: Good afternoon, the snow plow is not included in the sale. The frame has surface rust, no cracking. Frame is in decent shape.
