We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment, to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Falun Township sits among Roseau County's organized townships in northern Minnesota, home to 239 residents according to the most recent estimate, down slightly from 251 at the 2010 Census. Like its neighboring townships, Falun operates under a township board, the form of local government that handles the day-to-day business of rural Minnesota communities.
Even with a small population, Falun Township keeps its local government active. A 2024 Roseau County hazard mitigation plan lists a township clerk for Falun, a sign that township business continues, records get kept, and decisions get made close to home.
