We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

North Plainfield has served as a borough in Somerset County, New Jersey since 1926, home today to some 23,072 residents. Borough hall stands at 263 Somerset Street, the seat of local government where residents' business gets done. Following a referendum, the borough adopted the Faulkner Act strong-mayor form of government, giving North Plainfield a clear structure of executive leadership and accountability to the people it serves.
The municipal building houses both the police department and fire department, keeping public safety services close to home. North Plainfield Public Schools operates as its own district, educating the borough's children, while the public works department handles the everyday upkeep that keeps North Plainfield running for the neighbors who call it home.
