Retired patrol vehicles, radios, and equipment can fund what Moravia needs next. Municibid turns department surplus into revenue, with no fees to you.
Every dollar shown here went back to the community that sold the item.
Departments list what they retire and Municibid's bidders take it from there: no hauling, no dealer trade-ins, and the department keeps every dollar of the winning bid.

TrailersI just wanted to reach out to the whole Municibid gang and thank you! Springfield Township listed and sold a 2008 tub grinder on the site for a third of what we paid for the equipment new. I took phone calls about this equipment from Montana, Massachusetts, and Florida. This shows how large the platform's reach is. Anyone who is not using this site should be looking into it.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Jackie, I would like to thank you and the Municibid family. You helped me every step of the way and answered any questions I had quickly and kindly, no matter how silly they were. It is truly a pleasure working with you. We posted nine auctions, and eight sold, which was a great success in my opinion. It was a great experience for me, and I can’t wait to post more items for the school district on Municibid. I will recommend Municibid to any municipality looking to auction items off quickly and easily. Thanks again for all your help and time.

Long before it was the Village of Moravia, this stretch of land at the southern tip of Owasco Lake in Cayuga County, New York, was known as Owasco Flats, first settled by John Stoyell in 1789. The village took its present name and form with incorporation in 1837, then reincorporated in 1859 as its boundaries grew to take in more of the surrounding community.
Today, Moravia is home to 1,241 residents, according to the Census, and operates under a mayor-council form of government. The Village of Moravia Police Department and the Moravia Fire Department serve the community, and the village office at 22 Central Street handles local business, including water and sewer payments for residents.
