We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

What agencies say

Jackie, I would like to thank you and the Municibid family. You helped me every step of the way and answered any questions I had quickly and kindly, no matter how silly they were. It is truly a pleasure working with you. We posted nine auctions, and eight sold, which was a great success in my opinion. It was a great experience for me, and I can’t wait to post more items for the school district on Municibid. I will recommend Municibid to any municipality looking to auction items off quickly and easily. Thanks again for all your help and time.

Tucked along the shores of Chautauqua Lake in Chautauqua County, the Village of Bemus Point was incorporated in 1911. It's a small community, home to about 304 residents, with a village government that keeps close watch over local affairs. The village has long been tied to the Bemus Point-Stow Ferry landing, a fixture of lakefront life, and to the visitors who come for the water and the views it offers.

The Bemus Point Historical Society calls the village home, preserving the stories that have shaped this lakeside community over the decades. Village offices are located at 13 Alburtus Avenue, where residents and officials alike carry forward the work of a village built on its connection to Chautauqua Lake.
