Station EquipmentThe Village of Hebron has been pleased with using Municibid to dispose of surplus municipal assets. The prices we have been getting for unneeded vehicles and other equipment have exceeded our expectations, and the platform is easy to use for both the seller and the purchaser. We have had buyers for our items not only from our own community but from as far away as Pennsylvania and Vermont.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Westerville traces its roots to 1858, when it was incorporated as a village in Franklin County, Ohio. Otterbein University, founded there in 1847, predates the village itself. In 1916, Westerville adopted council-manager government, becoming, by the city's own account, the first village in Ohio to do so. The village grew into a city in 1960.
Today, Westerville is home to 29,250 residents, according to the U.S. Census. The city government runs Electric, Fire, Police, Public Service, Water, Parks and Recreation, Planning and Development, and Finance departments, with offices at 21 S. State St.
