Retired patrol vehicles, radios, and equipment can fund what Wellston needs next. Municibid turns department surplus into revenue, with no fees to you.
Every dollar shown here went back to the community that sold the item.
Departments list what they retire and Municibid's bidders take it from there: no hauling, no dealer trade-ins, and the department keeps every dollar of the winning bid.

TrailersThe Village of Hebron has been pleased with using Municibid to dispose of surplus municipal assets. The prices we have been getting for unneeded vehicles and other equipment have exceeded our expectations, and the platform is easy to use for both the seller and the purchaser. We have had buyers for our items not only from our own community but from as far away as Pennsylvania and Vermont.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Wellston, Ohio, has served as a city in Jackson County since 1839, tucked into the rolling landscape of the state's southeastern corner. Today, it's home to 5,493 residents, according to the Census, and operates under a mayor-council form of government that keeps decision-making close to the people it serves. City business is handled out of the city building at 203 East Broadway Street, right in the heart of town.
The City of Wellston, Ohio, as it's officially known, takes public safety seriously: both the Wellston Police and Fire Departments operate 24 hours a day, every day, so folks can count on help being there when they need it. It's a small city with steady governance, a clear address, and round-the-clock protection for the community it calls home.
