We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Jersey Township formed in 1820, when St. Albans Township was divided, and took its name from the New Jersey settlers who first put down roots here. That same year marked the start of a community that's now home to 2,661 residents, according to the Census. St. Joseph's Cathedral, described in township history materials as the oldest Catholic parish in Ohio, still stands here today, a quiet reminder of just how far back this place goes.
Today, Jersey Township is guided by a Board of Trustees and keeps its roads in good shape through its own road department, with a road superintendent listed on the township's official site. The township includes unincorporated areas near Pataskala and has seen parts of its land annexed by New Albany over time. Through it all, Jersey Township, Licking County, Ohio, holds onto the same neighborly character it was founded on back in 1820.
