Station EquipmentThe Village of Hebron has been pleased with using Municibid to dispose of surplus municipal assets. The prices we have been getting for unneeded vehicles and other equipment have exceeded our expectations, and the platform is easy to use for both the seller and the purchaser. We have had buyers for our items not only from our own community but from as far away as Pennsylvania and Vermont.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

The Village of Beloit sits in Mahoning County, Ohio, with a population of 894 and a Beloit, OH 44609 mailing address. Founded in 1855, the village operates under a mayor-council form of government, supported by a village council, a fiscal officer, and a Board of Public Affairs that helps guide local operations.
Beloit maintains its own fire department and EMS services to look after residents close to home. For other essentials, the village works with neighbors: it purchases its water from Sebring and contracts with Goshen Township for police protection, a practical arrangement that keeps a small village running smoothly.
