The best part about Municibid was that we didn’t think we’d get very much for one of our trucks, but we ended up selling it for exactly what we bought it for! It was awesome! It was painless. Quick and easy. Very simple. User-friendly. It’s a great resource.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

What agencies say

I wanted to let you and your bosses know that working with Municibid over the years has been extremely easy and beneficial to our agency. I have found that your company's responses when we do have problems with a bidder are very efficient. I know that my replacement will be using your company as much as I have, and he will have no problems at all. If there were stars to give out, I'd give you guys a five-star rating for helping your customers. Best of luck in the future.

Armstrong County came together on March 12, 1800, carved out of pieces of Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Lycoming counties. Kittanning took on its role as county seat in 1803 and has served as the center of county government ever since. Tucked into western Pennsylvania along the Allegheny River valley, the county has spent over two centuries building the kind of local governance folks rely on day to day.

Today, a Board of Commissioners made up of three elected officials leads Armstrong County's government, overseeing departments that touch nearly every part of residents' lives, from public safety and the jail to planning and development and economic development. With a population of 63,679, the county continues to carry forward the practical, neighbor-to-neighbor spirit its founders had in mind back in 1800.
