Retired plow trucks, loaders, and mowers can fund the next ones. Municibid turns Burnside's public works surplus into revenue, with no fees to the department.
Every dollar shown here went back to the community that sold the item.
From a retired dump truck to a pallet of catch-basin grates, Municibid's bidders want it. No hauling, no dealer trade-ins, and the department keeps 100% of the winning bid.

Signs & Scrap MetalThe best part about Municibid was that we didn’t think we’d get very much for one of our trucks, but we ended up selling it for exactly what we bought it for! It was awesome! It was painless. Quick and easy. Very simple. User-friendly. It’s a great resource.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Michael SilvestriSpring Township
Burnside Township was erected out of Snow Shoe Township in November 1856, in the northern reaches of Centre County, Pennsylvania. Bordered by the West Branch Susquehanna River and Black Moshannon Creek, the township takes in the communities of Pine Glen, Germania, German Settlement, Pine Swamp, Sterling Landing, and Buttermilk Falls. The Philadelphia City Lands tract, historically leased for fishing and hunting, lies within its borders as well.
Today, Burnside Township remains a small, close-knit community, with a population of about 414 recorded in the 2000 census. Governed by a Board of Supervisors, the township continues to reflect the quiet, rural character that has long defined this corner of Centre County.
