Retired plow trucks, loaders, and mowers can fund the next ones. Municibid turns Lower Augusta's public works surplus into revenue, with no fees to the department.
Every dollar shown here went back to the community that sold the item.
From a retired dump truck to a pallet of catch-basin grates, Municibid's bidders want it. No hauling, no dealer trade-ins, and the department keeps 100% of the winning bid.

Signs & Scrap MetalThe best part about Municibid was that we didn’t think we’d get very much for one of our trucks, but we ended up selling it for exactly what we bought it for! It was awesome! It was painless. Quick and easy. Very simple. User-friendly. It’s a great resource.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Lower Augusta Township came into being on April 13, 1846, when Augusta Township was divided, giving the community its present boundaries in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. What had once been part of the larger Augusta Township took shape as its own place, with the Susquehanna River helping to define its setting amid a landscape of ridges and valleys.
Today, the township is home to 1,026 residents, according to the Census, and continues to be governed by a Board of Supervisors. Local history points to Fisher's Ferry as a notable locality within the township, and the St. Elias Lutheran Church area remains part of its historical record, each a thread in the township's long story since 1846.
