Signs & Scrap MetalThe best part about Municibid was that we didn’t think we’d get very much for one of our trucks, but we ended up selling it for exactly what we bought it for! It was awesome! It was painless. Quick and easy. Very simple. User-friendly. It’s a great resource.

We have sold numerous things on Municibid, from large equipment to very small equipment to things we didn’t really think people would want to buy. Municibid was able to reach an audience that allowed us to sell every item. The best thing that happened to us this year was the introduction of the Municibid app. It allows us to go out in the field with a cell phone or iPad and create and post the listing from there.

Ligonier Township traces its roots to May 1822, when a court order carved it from parts of Donegal and Fairfield townships in what is now eastern Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Spanning about 91.8 square miles, it's home to 5,969 residents, according to the Census. The township has long been governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors, elected at large to guide decisions on behalf of the community.
Today, folks in Ligonier Township rely on a Public Works department that maintains more than 85 miles of township roads. In 2019, township and borough police merged to form the regional Ligonier Valley Police Department, a shared approach to public safety. Together, these efforts reflect a township that continues to grow while staying grounded in practical, local governance.
