DETAILS

Lot of Two (2) 21 speed Trek Police Bicycles: (1) 20” Frame, (1) 21” Frame w/ Judy Rocshok front suspension
Both in operating condition. Last Serviced in 2010 – Little use since. Small tear on seats
Includes handlebar guards, rear rack and water bottle cages

Bidding ends on starting at 11:00am prevailing time. In the event of a bid arriving within 2 minutes of the bid closing, the closing may be extended by 2 minute increments until no further bids are received.

All bidders agree, by submission of bid, to the following terms and shall be required to sign a non-collision and tax form at time of bid acceptance.

The bidder certifies under penalties of perjury that this bid has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person. As used in this certification, the word “person” shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club, or organization, entity, or group of individuals.

Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, Sec 49A, the bidder must certify under the penalties of perjury that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the bidder is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts relating to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting child support.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Foxborough.

INSPECTION

Bidders are responsible for examining items prior to bidding and are therefore strongly urged to do so. Bid items may be viewed by scheduling an appointment with Lt. Allan Haskell by calling 508-543-1212 prior to the bid opening date (excluding Sunday, Monday and Holidays).

PICK-UP BY THE BUYER

The Town is not responsible for damage to bid items, title passes to the buyer only after full payment has been made to the Town.

All bidders are advised that all vehicles and items are sold “as is” “where is” with no warrantee expressed or implied. The successful bidder shall assume all liability for said vehicles / items after the sale transaction. Bidder agrees by bidding that the Town of Foxborough shall be held harmless for any issues or occurrences after the bidder takes possession. Bidders are advised that all items are excess, outlived their useful life and/or surplus to the Town of Foxborough’s needs. The Town of Foxborough has made every attempt to provide the best information available on each item being auctioned and shall not be held responsible for information that is not accurate.

The BUYER shall pick-up the equipment within 15 days (Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays excluded) of the notification by the OWNER that the item is ready for pick-up. The pick-up shall be made during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, in the presence of an authorized employee of the Town. The cost of pick up and transportation shall be the sole responsibility of the BUYER. The OWNER will not be responsible for any portion of the removal of the equipment from TOWN property.

Town vehicles which have distinctive marking shall be repainted within thirty (30) calendar days. All vehicles that have any marking/seals/logo’s that are specific to the Town of Foxborough shall be removed by the BUYER prior to removal from the Town’s possession and property.

Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).

Where can I see what the buyers fee is?

The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
