Item Description

Armor Cast Containment fuel system with two steel 1,000gal tanks inside a concrete vault. This was purchased new in 1993 and is classified as a double wall containment fuel tank system. The two 1,000gal steel tanks are inside of a sealed concrete outer wall with a small void between the tanks for leak detection. The condition of the tanks, GASBOY pumps and leak detection sensors are unknown. The power was disconnected a couple years ago. The one fuel pump hose is missing and the other is dry rotted and cracked all the way through.

The one 1,000gal tank was used for Gasoline and has 40" inches of old fuel still in it. The other side has a 1,000gal tank which was used for Diesel and has about 4" inches of old fuel in it. This fuel system has not been used in over 9 years and the condition of the fuel left inside and the operation and condition of the fuel tanks is unknown.

This tank is VERY heavy and will need heavy duty lifting and hauling equipment to move it. We do not have a heavy enough machine to help lift it. The information I found has this type of system weighing in excess of 22,000lbs. Some disassembly of the vent pipes will be need before the tank is hauled away due to the hieght.

I would highly recommend you inspect this tank in person before placing a bid. If you don't have access to the proper equipment to load and haul it away it could be cost prohibitive for you to bid.
