Item Description
AD HAS BEEN REVISED AND UPDATED WITH CORRECT INFORMATION. 1993 ODB SELF CONTAINED LEAF COLLECTION TRAILER - Unit has a Ford Diesel Engine. Vehicle operated when parked but has not been used or operated since the purchase of our new unit 2 or 3 years ago. Jenkintown Borough does not intend to misrepresent this unit and has made all good faith efforts to provide accurate information. That being said, please perform your due diligence prior to bidding, research, ask questions and make a personal inspection during the date and times listed in this ad if any doubts remain.
Vehicle is sold as is and where is and will need to be towed when purchased.
Jenkintown Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids if in the best interest of Jenkintown Borough.
At the close of bidding, winning bidding must contact Jenkintown Borough to discuss payment and vehicle removal plans. Full payment must be made in the form of cash or cashier check within 7 days of the end of auction.
All equipment for auction can be viewed at Jenkintown Borough Hall 700 Summit Avenue Jenkintown PA 19046 on Tuesday September 24th between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

1) Trailer has a clean title as we are the original owners. The title has been ordered from the Department of Transportation and is expected in 5 to 7 days.
2) Since we do not have the title in hand I can not answer this question at this time. I will update this answer upon receipt of the title.
3) I had a mechanic look at the trailer and I was informed that all the axles have electric brakes.

I checked with PW on this question. I was informed the trailer has a hydraulic dump and that is how it is / was emptied. PW informs me that this function worked when we obtained our new trailer and parked this unit. That being said Jenkintown Borough is selling this unit as is where is and we do not mean to imply a guarantee that the trailer is functional or under a warranty. Thank you

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. - Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
