Item Description

The following radio equipment is being dispersed of by the Mahoning Township Fire Department. Equipment is being sold as one lot and will NOT be separated. Buyer is responsible for frequency removal and reprogramming. All equipment is being sold as is and was in working condition when removed from service with the exception of two of the MT 1250 portables.

2 – Kenwood TK690H mobile high band radios

2 – Kenwood TK790H mobile low band radios

4 remote head with speaker mic, 1 external speaker and misc. cables and wiring for Kenwood radios listed above.

2 – Motorola Radius mobile low band radios with speaker mics

1 – Uniden mobile low band radio base unit with remote head only, No cables or wiring

14 – Motorola MT1250 low band portable radios, 18 charging bases, 5 new batteries, and 11 speaker mics.

The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids are subject to the rules set forth by Municibid and the Township.

All bidders are encouraged to examine the items in advance of submitting a bid. The items are sold “AS IS- NO WARRANTY”. The Township makes no representations concerning the condition of the items . The items may be examined during regular business hours at the Township Building by scheduling an appointment with the Township by calling (570) 275-5521 Ext 4.

The successful bidder may pick up the items beginning March 10, 2020. The items must be picked up within fifteen (15) days of the award of the bid. The bidder is responsible for the transportation of the vehicle from the Township’s property, Cash or certified check for the full amount of the winning bid must be tendered at the time of the settlement.

Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).

Where can I see what the buyers fee is?

The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
