Payment Details
Winning bidder must pay for item by certified check. Item is being sold "as is", "where is". No warranty or guarantee. There shall be no warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to any of the said articles and no refunds of any kind shall be made. Full payment must be received by the Town of New Ipswich, NH within ten (10) business days of notice of award. All items must be removed from the Town's property within five (5) business days of payment. The Town of New Ipswich Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, for any cause whatsoever, as it deems in the best interest of the Town.
Item Description
1977 Ford F700 tanker with less than 11K miles. Believed to have a Ford 370 cu. in. gas V8 engine. 5-speed manual transmission with 2-speed rear end. Hydraulic brakes. Good overall condition. Runs with a jump start. 28,000 pound GVW rating. Last inspected in 2018. Sold "as is" "where is". Pre-title vehicle being sold on a "bill of sale". Light bar and hoses have been removed from the truck.

I do not know what the dry curb weight is. The maximum gross vehicle weight is 27,000 pounds. Based on that I would calculate the dry curb weight at around 15,000 pounds.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
