"I might suggest that your reserve bid should have been 50 and hopefully by mistake it went in as 500…:)" - Asked by #4863757 01/09/2023 09:38 PM |

Thank you for looking. I might suggest you research the value of these furnaces. The opening bid is correct at $500. :)

"Good evening,
I did not see this item early enough to ask questions.
What is the condition of the forge? What is the reserve price for this auction, and the other foundry items listed in a separate auction? I am interested in both, but I have no way of picking them up until late May or June. Could we work something out so they are held until then?
Thank you" - Asked by #54265412 02/03/2023 11:26 PM |
A: |
To knowledge everything is in working condition. This was removed over the summer to make room for some other equipment. We no longer have the working metal shop in our curriculum. We would be open to holding them with a non- refundable deposit for pick up at a later date.

"What's the condition of the refractory? Do you have an owners / operation manual for this and the other equipment? How much does it weigh?" - Asked by #54265412 02/14/2023 12:05 PM |
A: |
Unknown, I will try to update with a picture of the refractory. It is assumed to be fully functional since these are the last pieces of the metal shop to be removed.
