The Town of Chelmsford reserves the right to reject any or all bids and does not provide any guarantees and/or warranties relative to any item being sold. Each item is being sold "AS IS". Payment must be made with Cashier's Check, Treasurer's Check, Certified Check, or U.S. Postal Money Order payable to the Town of Chelmsford at the time of pickup – no personal or business funds will be accepted. There are no refunds. Pickup must be within ten (10) working days from the date of the end of the auction. The winning bidder is responsible for title transfer costs and transportation costs for the pickup of each item. The winning bidder must also submit a signed “Certificate of Non-Collusion” (provided by municipality) prior to receipt of property as required by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B, Section 10.
Item Description
ENGINE HOURS: 21,336 IDLE HOURS: 16,562
COLOR BLACK/SILVER
Exterior: no large damage just door dents and bruised bumpers. Police equipment was removed, and antenna bases were left in the roof to plug holes. Headlights and taillights strobes wires were cut at lights/inoperable. Holes in the roof from the lights bar are taped over along with the rear hatch next to the plate mounting area.
Interior: driver’s door armrest damage. The driver's floor liner is damaged. Headliner damaged from prisoner cage. No rear seats or door panels. Rear hatch panel holes where lights were. Holes center dash cover where radar was.
Mechanical: was in service until September 2022, no performance issues no warning lights. Not on history, transmission mount replaced, and oil change was performed. Does have a small oil wet spot/leak behind the alternator. PTU right side wet by axle shaft seal no drips. The right rear axle seal is wet no drip. Both valve covers VCT plug seals are leaking slightly. The heat & a/c system operates with no problems. Has full maintenance records from day 1 along with dealership warranty receipts.
