Q:
"How bad was the accident to front passenger side that pushed the crash bar into hood? Any repair cost estimate ? Thank You"
- Asked by #12155298 12/09/2022 10:56 AM
A:
About a month ago, a deer ran into the front quarter panel, then ran off. The fender was dented, but they were able to pop it right back. Our officers think this caused the hood damage, too, but it was so minor an insurance claim was not pursued. No front end or crash bar accident occurred.

Q:
"Will the police graphics and equipment be removed before sale and are the doors painted white or wrapped."
- Asked by #44485272 12/12/2022 03:41 PM
A:
The doors are actually painted white, then the graphics added. Most equipment, including the radios and dash camera will be removed. We normally remove the graphics once we are no longer using the vehicle. (edited on 01/10/2023 09:38 AM)

Q:
"What are the mechanical issues? "
- Asked by #45459619 12/19/2022 01:12 PM
A:
The sensor for the catalytic converter is dirty and is causing the check engine light. Otherwise, the switch for the fan level (defrost, body, or feet) will occasionally stick and not change the level.

Q:
"Sir Noted the check engine light is on in photo. Is this because the unit was not running or is there an actual cel code ? Thank you for your time."
- Asked by #33661852 12/31/2022 08:59 AM
A:
The sensor for the catalytic converter is dirty and tossing up the code.

Q:
"Sir Just wanted to confirm a couple of things before bid ends. All Emergency equip. except radio? Including watch guard dash unit. will stay with the unit? Is it possible to leave all graphics except your burrough name? Thank you for your time. "
- Asked by #33661852 01/10/2023 09:09 AM
A:
No, the dash camera will not be sold with the vehicle. There is also a laptop table and gun rack, which are being removed. The police graphics and light bar will remain *only* if the successful bidder is another police department.

Q:
"Thank you for clarifying you may want to add that to descriptio because listing does not note anywhere that equip. will be removed for non LEO. Some.folks may be bidding on it based on that. Thank you"
- Asked by #33661852 01/10/2023 10:04 AM
A:
Thank you. I will do so. We've sold police vehicles on Municibid in the past and these questions never came up.
