Item Description
East Bradford Township is selling a 1994 Volvo (VME) Wheel Loader: Specs are as follows:
1994 Volvo VME Wheel Loader with bucket, plow and forks
- Engine VME TD 40 GA 4 cylinder diesel.
- Hours 4793.0
- 3 speed shuttle shift transmission.
- 2 stick loader bucket controls with aux.
- 1.6 yard bucket
- 42” forks
- 10’6” Holms Industries trip edge plow. Approx. 33” tall
- Original Owners manual and parts manual included
- Spec sheet from owners manual in photos will answer questions about lift height, weights, etc.
- All glass intact
- Full ROPS cab. Heated. No AC. No radio.
- Machine was rehabbed in 2017, so it looks great for it’s age.
The bad:
- This is a 29 year old machine, so it has a few leaks. The major ones have all been repaired and the loader functions as it should right now, but leaks are inevitable.
- The batteries go dead after sitting for a few days. If you turn the master power switch off after use, it will start fine the next time you have to use it.
- The snow plow has sat for 20+ years. We hooked it up, turned it left, turned it right and got it straight again and unhooked it. So it works right now. The trip edge is rusted and the cutting edges will need replaced.

East Bradford Township, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The loader is being sold on an “As is, where is” basis. Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of award or the Township reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to East Bradford Township in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or money order, made payable to East Bradford Township, 676 Copeland School Rd. West Chester, PA 19380. Successful bidder shall remove item(s) within seven (7) days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Township reserves the right to reject any bids received and to award to the vendor of choice. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up Loader. Delivery is not available. The Township is not responsible for loader once it has left Township property.
East Bradford Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Loader can be picked up at the East Bradford Public Works Facility located at 678 Copeland School Road, West Chester PA 19380.
Bid will be awarded at the East Bradford Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
