"NYS Dealer w/tax # ,should I bring a copy of tax resale certificate ?" - Asked by #49909569 01/25/2023 01:02 PM |
A: |
Our local notary might know more, but typically for dealers both in-state and out of-state, I go myself to our local notary, sign off that we are selling it, put the dealers address, name, and dealer #, then just give over the title. So, typically no money to the notary for taxes or anything is done. I would think you have to deal with taxes and fees when titling or registering the vehicle in NY.
