Payment Details
Payment in full is due to Municibid no later than 5 working days after the close of the auction. Payment is accepted in the form of Electronic Fund Transfer, Wire Transfer, and Certified Payment (Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Money Order). Item Description
(30) Acer C740 Chromebooks & (36) Acer C720 Chromebooks devices plus (66) power adapters/charging cables included, to be sold as a lot in various condition.
A comprehensive list of these devices is attached herein.
No Chromebooks are locked to our knowledge. All Chromebooks have been reset and are eligible to run with the latest available software update.
Based on the pictures above, all Chromebooks included show that the screens work, the battery holds a charge, and are absent of any major damage to the devices. The "damage" is limited to light scratches on the device body, some Google Chrome symbols may be missing, and parts of the hinge cover/speaker cover plastic being broken. Besides that, they are in awesome working condition!
The Chromebooks do not have cases on them but the chargers will be included in the lot. The Acer chargers included are in good, working condition but there is no guarantee they will work consistently.
All Chromebooks have been factory reset/wiped clean of any data and deprovisioned from our systems by on site Tech staff. All Chromebooks were in working condition when they were removed from service. There are no major cracks, dents, or signs of any substantial damage, unless that information has been indicated on the comprehensive list. There is normal wear and tear from daily student usage of these devices.
Lot is being sold as is! Shipping services provided by the District are not available. The winning bidder must pick up at the disclosed location by appointment.
All Chromebooks are in working order, absence of any substantial damages, and factory reset. They are not packed in boxes and are loose. Any boxes on site are not suitable for shipping, and will not be provided. As a result, these devices must be picked up by the winning bidder. They will also need to be packed by the winning bidder. All packing materials and supplies (such as boxes and tape) that will be needed by the winning bidder to ship or transport these items, must be purchased, provided by the bidder and brought on site the day of pick up. All shipping/travel costs must be paid by bidder.

*Items offered for sale are in used condition and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only.
**Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance that the buyer is certified as the awarded bidder. Shipping by the district is not available. Award vendor must pick up at disclosed location by appointment. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated in the description of sale.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. You pay the selling agency directly for the full cost of the item. (unless otherwise noted)
All Buyers fee's are aggregate unless otherwise noted. This means after you cross certain price thresholds you will pay a different buyers fee for the remaining amount. See below for an example.
Example:
If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
