Item Description
East Bradford Township is selling a 2009 John Deere Backhoe. Model 310 SJ: Specs are as follows:
2009 John Deere Backhoe. Model 310 SJ:
- Well maintained. Up to date on all service.
- 93 hp John Deere Engine
- Hours 1631.2
- 4 speed shuttle shift transmission.
- Clamshell bucket
- 24" bucket mounted
- Extra 12" bucket
- 4 X 4
- Air ride seat
- All glass intact
- Full ROPS cab. Heated. AC. FM radio.
The bad:
- Outrigger controls stick.
- Other than that, there really aren't any. The only reasons we are selling are 2-fold. 1. We have a replacement policy, and it is at our replacement time frame, and 2. It is very slow going over the road. We travel throughout the township with this backhoe, and it is very slow and an absolute snail on uphill climbs. Tons of power when on site, but we need something that travels a bit faster over the road.

East Bradford Township, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The backhoe is being sold on an “As is, where is” basis. Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of award or the Township reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to East Bradford Township in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or money order, made payable to East Bradford Township, 676 Copeland School Rd. West Chester, PA 19380. Successful bidder shall remove item(s) within seven (7) days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Township reserves the right to reject any bids received and to award to the vendor of choice. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up backhoe. Delivery is not available. The Township is not responsible for loader once it has left Township property.
East Bradford Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Loader can be picked up at the East Bradford Public Works Facility located at 678 Copeland School Road, West Chester PA 19380.
Bid will be awarded at the East Bradford Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Backhoe has extendahoe and hydraulics on the hoe for attachments.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
