Payment Details
Payment for the equipment must be made by Cashier's Check payable to Bern Township and issued by a financial institution that can be contacted for verification. Bern Township does not provide any guaranties or warranties relative to the equipment being sold. Therefore, the equipment is offered for sale on an AS IS - WHERE IS basis. Bern Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to accompany a township employee to a tag agent for transfer of the vehicle title and pay for any sales tax and transfer costs.
Item Description
For sale is one (1) 1997 Ford E-250 ambulance/special services unit. This unit was originally an ambulance and repurposed into a police special services unit used for large incidents and command. Current mileage is 165,764 on the 7.3 Ford Powerstroke diesel motor. The vehicle comes as shown with working red and blue lights and siren. ADVISORY - Use of lights and/or siren by a non-law enforcement entity is strictly prohibited, if non LE entity is winning bidder the lights will be removed. There is also an internal spot light. The vehicle is running with inspection expiring in 8/2023. The ducted AC unit for the cab leaks and needs to be recharged frequently. This vehicle is being sold "AS IS -WHERE IS" basis.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
