Borough of Monaca, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Vehicles being sold "As Is" basis.
Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form binding contracts as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due no later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall pay Borough of Monaca in cash, cashier's check, and certified check, payable to Borough of Monaca, 928 Pennsylvania Ave, Monaca, PA 15061. The successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Borough of Monaca reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to accept the bid that it determines is in its best interest.

GENERAL PROVISIONS
Please note: It is the responsibility of all bidders to read and understand the following provisions of the sale and bid procedure. Failure to comply with all provisions may result in bid rejection. In the event you do not understand the following provisions and need further clarification, please contact David Kramer at (724)724-775-9600, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
EQUIPMENT TITLE TRANSFER- The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs incurred for title transfer as may be required, if any. All equipment offered for sale within this contract is currently owned and maintained by the Borough of Monaca, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
PRE-BID INSPECTION- All equipment offered for sale may be inspected on-site Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM at the Borough Building located at 700 Taylor Ave, Monaca, PA 15061. Equipment is offered for sale "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES" The successful bidder, upon making payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for removal and all costs incurred for removal of said equipment. The buyer has sole responsibility for picking up the equipment. Delivery is not available. The Borough of Monaca is not responsible for equipment once it has left the Borough property. If the successful bidder cannot schedule equipment removal at purchase time, special exceptions must be agreed upon.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
