Payment Details
Payment for the equipment must be made by Cashier's Check payable to Bern Township and issued by a financial institution that can be contacted for verification. Bern Township does not provide any guaranties or warranties relative to the equipment being sold. Therefore, the equipment is offered for sale on an AS IS - WHERE IS basis. Bern Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to accompany a township employee to a tag agent for transfer of the vehicle title and pay for any sales tax and transfer costs.
Item Description
2009 Case Backhoe, Model 590SM+ Series 3, including 12" digging bucket and 36" grading bucket. 4,323.3 hours of use. Recent maintenance includes: replacement of all brakes in 2022; replacement of all tires in 2023; October 2023 servicing included replacement of lights, fuel filter and separator, engine oil filter, four gallons of new engine oil, inner and outer air filters, 2 bushings, 2 rings, 2 pins - grooved, 2 hydraulic sleeves, 2 wiper seals, 1 ring seal, 1 rocker switch and 1 seat switch. Backhoe is titled and has PA license plate.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
