Item Description
For Sale: 1992 +/- Era John Deere 870 Compact Utility tractor with 3-point hydraulic lift hitch and loader with bucket. Unit was running when parked. Unit is worn out and after a recent service by John Deere it was not returned to service due to multiple issues. Issues include but may not be limited to worn clutch system, leaking steering hub seals, leaking clutch system, leaking hydraulic pump, weak braking, starting system faults, electrical system faults, damaged hood, damaged operators station seat and rails, missing side hood panel, and cracked hydraulic hoses. Hour meter shows 1059.5 hours, however this is likely not correct. Other issues may be present but unknown at this time. Tires are 30% to 40% tread. All fluids exposed to moisture as the unit was stored outside for long duration. Winning bidder should be prepared to move unit by means other than under its own power as it has not started in several months as the battery may be dead. Maintenance records may not exist. Item is being sold as is, where is, no warranty or guarantee is offered regarding known or unknown issues with the item. All loading and removal costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Update: This unit comes with a set of filters and a brand new John Deere operators seat ($350 purchase cost) that was never installed.
