Item Description
Vehicle being auctioned is a black 2018 Gasoline powered Ford Explorer 4WD Police Utility Vehicle, owned by the Town of Bridgewater Ma, Bridgewater Police Department. The vehicle was used by the department patrol division and is in fair condition but has some scratches and marks in the paint. The water pump is not functioning, and it needs a new water pump. It starts/runs. The following have been replaced: Catalytic Converter, all spark plugs, ignition coils, cooling fan, shroud assembly, air conditioning compressor (includes recover, evacuate, and recharge with oil and dye), battery, front brake pad set and hardware, both front brake rotors, cleaned and lubed front brake caliper slides (brake work done at 93,944 miles), fuel filler pipe assembly, fresh air cabin filter, and driver seat back frame (includes remove seat, disassemble seat, replace back frame, reassemble and reinstall seat), and oil has been changed regularly. The vehicle has cloth front seats and a hard plastic type of material for the backseat. The vehicle's inspection sticker expired on 01/2024. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS" with no express or implied warranties. The Town of Bridgewater reserves the right to reject any bid for any reason at anytime. Successful Bidder is responsible for any and all costs associated with the transfer, registration, licensing, taxes, and pick up. Successful Bidder must also sign required Non-Collusion form, MGL C30B, must provide certified bank check for the total amount of bid, a bill of sale will be provided, and remove Vehicle within (7) days of Close of Auction. Example:
If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
