PUBLIC NOTICE SALE OF VEHICLES/EQUIPMENT
CITY OF BEAVER FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT is accepting bids for sale of a used municipal vehicle in "as-is" condition up through 18 April 2024. Bids will be received via public auction on the Municibid website (www.municibid.com) until 3 p.m. on 18 April 2024., prevailing time, for the following: 2013 Chevrolet Caprice sedan, 6.0L V8. NOTICE: For non law enforcement or municipal bidders, emergency lighting and or stripe kit will be removed prior to winning bidder taking possession of vehicle. See information available to bidders on the Municibid website for further details. City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award sale of any vehicle/equipment item in the best interests of City of Beaver Falls Police Department. Vehicle does start and run. Vehicle inspection expired 6/23. Taken out of service due to bad catalytic converter. Transmission replaced April 2022 at 77459 miles in addition to replacement of Left Front Lower Control Link, Front Tie Rods and Alignment. (Service documentation is available.)

There are no known issues with rust on this vehicle. The quarter panels, fenders and places that rust is typically found were visually inspected and appear in good order. The vehicle is driveable with the exception of the lack of state inspection. Bidders are welcome to make an appointment to inspect the vehicle.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).

The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
