Payment must be made by cash, check or money order, made payable to the City of Franklin. The successful bidder must pick up the item within fifteen (15) days of awarding the bid.
Item Description
1995 GMC 3500HD Bucket truck with 30 foot TELSTA aerial work platform. Truck is 2-wheel drive, 64,502 miles, 7.4 L TBI gas engine, automatic transmission, front tires 12/32”, rear tires 3/32” and brakes are 14/32”. Recent repairs/parts include new switches for the bucket controls, engine mounts, steering stabilizer, battery, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, brake lines and door hinge bushings.
Truck is equipped with an Onan gas generator/hydraulic power unit, fiberglass utility bed, auxiliary hydraulics and 120-volt outlet on side entrance of the bucket.
Crossmembers under the utility bed are rusted, utility bed has been patched and/or plated, and the auto-leveling bucket is malfunctioning.
The truck was recently removed from service and is being sold as is, where is, condition.

The City of Franklin reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason. The results will be voted on by the City of Franklin Council at their July 6, 2026 meeting.
