Payment Details
The successful bidder shall make payment to AMED in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, made payable to AMED, 106 Reimer Street, Altoona PA 16602. Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven (7) calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. AMED reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to end the auction early for no reason.
Item Description
Bid proposals will be received by AMED until December 04, 2015 for the sale of the following:
2003 Ford E350 ambulance, 7.3L Diesel, Automatic Transmission, Quigley four wheel drive conversion, Current mileage is 207,710 (subject to change)
AMED, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Items being sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis. So please be sure to inspect the items.
Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form binding contracts as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later that seven (7) calendar days from the close of the auction or AMED reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to AMED in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, made payable to AMED, 1012 7 Ave, Altoona PA 16602. Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. AMED reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof.

GENERAL PROVISIONS
Please note: It is the responsibility of all bidders to read and understand the following provisions of sale and bid procedure. Failure to comply with all provisions may result in bid rejection. In the event you do not understand the following provisions and need further clarification, please contact Gary Watters Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00AM and 3:00PM.
EQUIPMENT TITLE TRANSFER- The successful bidder shall be responsible for all cost incurred for title transfer and taxes as may be required, if any. All motor vehicles must have title transferred prior to removal of the vehicle from our lot. All equipment offered for sale within this contract is currently owned and maintained by AMED.
Items offered for sale "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTESS" the successful bidder, upon making payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for removal and all cost incurred for removal of said items. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up the items. Delivery is not available. AMED is not responsible for items once is has left the AMED property. In the event the successful bidder is unable to schedule removal of items at time of purchase, special exceptions must be agreed upon.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. You pay the selling agency directly for the full cost of the item. (unless otherwise noted)
All Buyers fee's are aggregate unless otherwise noted. This means after you cross certain price thresholds you will pay a different buyers fee for the remaining amount. See below for an example.
Example:
If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
