Item Description

2014 Ford Taurus Interceptor, 3.7 L. Approx. 85000 miles. Vehicle was replaced by new vehicle. Emergency equipment, lights, siren, cage will remain if sold to another Government agency.

Borough of Rochester, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Vehicle being sold "As Is" basis.

Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form binding contracts as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due no later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to Borough of Rochester in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, made payable to Borough of Rochester, 350 Adams Street, Rochester, PA, 15074. Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Borough of Rochester reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to accept the bid which it determines in its best interest.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Please note: It is the responsibility of all bidders to read and understand the following provisions of sale and bid procedure. Failure to comply with all provisions may result in bid rejection. EQUIPMENT TITLE TRANSFER- The successful bidder shall be responsible for all cost incurred for title transfer as may be required, if any. All equipment offered for sale within this contract is currently owned and maintained by Borough of Rochester, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

PRE-BID INSPECTION- All equipment offered for sale may be inspected on site Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30PM at the Borough Building located at 350 Adams Street, Rochester, PA. 15074. Equipment is offered for sale "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES" the successful bidder, upon making payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for removal and all cost incurred for removal of said equipment. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up the equipment. Delivery is not available. Borough of Rochester is not responsible for equipment once it has left the Borough property. In the event the successful bidder is unable to schedule removal of equipment at time of purchase, special exceptions must be agreed upon.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
