Item Description
You are bidding on a large lot of steel library “stack” shelving with adjustable shelves. Some of the shelving is assembled, and will need to be disassembled at the time of pickup; most is disassembled and stored in large moving boxes which will have to be emptied or moved by hand. All shelving has been heavily used in a public library, and has been retired following a renovation. It is being sold in "as is" condition and there are no warranties expressed or implied. A list of the shelving units we believe to be included in the lot is below, but we can not guarantee that all parts and pieces of every shelving unit is present (some may be missing shelves, brackets, end caps, etc).
Assembled/partially assembled units:
Putty-colored shelving:
(3) single-sided units, each 55”H x 36”W x 21”D, with wood end caps, tops and backs (free-standing)
(4) double-sided units, each 55”H x 36”W x 21” D, with wood end caps and tops (free-standing)
(4) double-sided units, each 55.5”H x 36”W x 19”D, with wood end caps and tops (free-standing)
(1) single-sided unit with 7 shelves, 90”H x 36”W x 11 ½”D, with wood end caps and top (wall-mounted)
(20) double-sided 4-shelf units, each 55”H x 36”W x 21”D, with wood end caps and tops; joined as 5 sets of 4 (free-standing)
(6) single-sided 5-shelf units with 1 wood end cap attached (wall-mounted)
Black shelving:
(3) double-sided units, each 42”H x 30”W x 22 ½”D, with light oak/teal laminate top (edges raw, no end caps, free-standing)
Disassembled shelving:
(24) large moving boxes (29”H x 46”W x 30”D) full of disassembled shelving, mostly putty-colored; actual quantity and configuration is unknown, but most is from 90”H x 36” W single- or double-sided stacks
(1) large moving box of miscellaneous metal shelf dividers, book ends and book displays
These items are not stored at the library, so pickup will be by appointment only. The winning bidder will be expected to make contact as instructed below within (7) days of the auction’s close to make a pickup appointment. If contact is not made within (7) days, the winning bidder will forfeit the items, which may be offered to the next highest bidder at the seller’s discretion. The buyer will assume all responsibility for disassembling, loading and removing the items from the premises (tools, dollies, etc. may not be available at the pickup site). Storage building is single-story with a flat path to the parking lot; some items may be located in a recessed area which is accessible by four steps or a wooden ramp. Exact payment (by bank-certified check or money order only) will be expected at the time of pickup, prior to loading.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. You pay the selling agency directly for the full cost of the item. (unless otherwise noted)
All Buyers fee's are aggregate unless otherwise noted. This means after you cross certain price thresholds you will pay a different buyers fee for the remaining amount. See below for an example.
Example:
If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

FAIR WARNING ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are legally obligated to pay for your item per the terms of the seller if you are the high bidder at the close of auction. If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
