Item Description
This auction features a 2013 Lincoln MKS, which is equipped with a 3.5L V6 DOHC 24V engine with and all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle which was impounded by the Tenafly Police Department and now ready to be auctioned. It is being sold with a, “Standard Title Form”, a copy of the newspaper listing, and a resolution the town created authorizing the auction. The provided documentation must be submitted to your local Department of Motor Vehicles Vehicles where a Standard Title will be issued. ** The exterior requires a deep clean/waxing as it sat for an extended period of time.
The vehicle has an odometer reading of 27,521 miles. The engine and transmission appear to be in satisfactory condition, has a brand new interstate battery, ice cold air conditioning and hot heat. The interior appears to be in satisfactory condition as well. The exterior of the vehicle exhibits various dings, dents and scrapes, as illustrated in the accompanying photographs. Notable areas of damage include, but are not limited to, the front driver side fender, the left rear driver-side bumper, the rear bumper above the license plate holder, the front passenger side bumper/fender, the lower front passenger side fender, among other locations. Additionally, the windshield is cracked and requires replacement. The tires exhibit adequate tread depth; however, they display minor indications of dry rot.
The braking system appears to be in satisfactory condition, although there is a minor pulsation in the brake pedal when the brakes are engaged. During operation of the vehicle, a rattling noise which is observed, potentially from the right rear passenger side strut tower area. The Tenafly Police Department is offering this vehicle for sale in its current condition, without any warranties, either expressed or implied. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle prior to placing a bid. The description provided reflects the department's best efforts; however, there may be additional issues that we have-not identified.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
